The meaning
Most fears are bigger before you face them than after. The front of this coin points at the reward: once you become fearless, life becomes limitless. Nobody is fearless all at once. You get there one faced fear at a time.
The back carries one of the best known lines about courage: everything you want is on the other side of fear. The coin adds a last push. Fear is an illusion, or at least it is usually much smaller than it looks.
The design
The front shows a single face split down the middle: on one side a bearded man, on the other a lion, both looking straight at you, framed by fine scrollwork. The back puts the word FEAR in heavy letters at the center, with the rest of the quote around it.
