The meaning
Amor vincit omnia, love conquers all, comes from the Roman poet Virgil, who wrote omnia vincit amor in his Eclogues around 38 BC. The phrase has traveled ever since: in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, the Prioress wears a gold brooch inscribed with it.
The back says the same thing in modern words: two hearts, one beat. Two lives that keep their own shape and still move in step.
The design
The front shows a heart with wings, pierced by an arrow and crowned with a rose, with Amor Vincit Omnia in gothic letters across it. The back shows two overlapping hearts wrapped in a banner reading Two Hearts, One Beat, framed by roses, with a small bird at one side.
On good days and hard days
- On good days, it is a small token of the bond you share, there every time you lock the door or start the car.
- On hard days, when you are apart or going through a rough patch together, it reminds you both that love conquers all and that two hearts can still keep one beat.
Why a key tag
Keys go everywhere you go, and they open the home you share. That makes them the right place for this reminder. Buy two and each keep one on your keys: a matching pair that works well across long distance. It carries the same artwork as the Love Coin, with a loop added so it can hang from your keys.
Give it
It is a lasting Valentine's Day or anniversary gift, and bronze is the traditional 8th anniversary metal. It also suits a couple moving into their first home, an engagement, or a partner deployed far away. Pair it with the Love Coin for someone who wants both.
Specs
- Diameter: 1.54 in (39 mm)
- Thickness: 2.7 mm
- Weight: about 1 oz (28 g)
- Material: brass alloy, Antique Bronze finish
- Made: die struck, minted in the USA
- Each key tag is antiqued with a special patina so it looks like it has already been in circulation. The patina never settles the same way twice, so no two key tags look exactly alike. Small variations in color and shading are normal, and they are what make yours one of a kind.
- Key ring included
Questions
What does amor vincit omnia mean?
“Love conquers all.” It comes from Virgil's Eclogues, written around 38 BC.
Can we get matching key tags?
Yes. Many couples order two, one for each set of keys.
Is it the same design as the Love Coin?
Yes, the artwork is the same on both sides. The key tag simply adds a loop so it can hang from your keys.
Will my key tag look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but never identical. Each key tag is antiqued with a special patina that settles differently every time, so small variations in color and shading from the photos are normal. They are what make yours one of a kind.

Care: keep it dry and wipe it with a soft cloth. No polishing needed; the aged finish is part of the look.
