Joker Key Tag

Front: “They laugh at me because I am different” · “I laugh at them because they are all the same”
Back: “Always stay true to who you are”

At a glance

• Theme: the outsider who refuses to blend in
• Good for: new keys, a first car, a first apartment, a fresh start on your own terms
• Gift for: a teen finding their way, an artist or musician, the one in the family who does things differently
• Finish: Antique Bronze (brass alloy) with an antique patina, so each one is unique; key ring included
• Size: 39 mm, about 1 oz, die struck in the USA

The meaning

The front is a comeback with a grin: they laugh at me because I am different, I laugh at them because they are all the same. The back drops the joke and says the serious part: always stay true to who you are. It is easier to fit in. It is worth more not to.

On good days and hard days

• On good days, it is a proud reminder that being different is what got you this far.
• On hard days, when people laugh, judge or try to make you fit in, it gives you the joker's answer and the serious one: always stay true to who you are.

Why a key tag

Your keys go everywhere you go, so this reminder does too. You see it every time you leave the house, which is exactly when the pressure to fit in starts. It carries the same artwork as the Joker Coin: a grinning joker under a cloud of HA HA HA on the front, and a J monogram under a jester's hat on the back.

Give it

It is a fun gift for a teen getting a first set of keys, an artist or musician, or the friend who never followed the crowd. It also makes a great stocking stuffer or birthday extra for anyone who likes the Joker Coin's message.

Specs

• Diameter: 1.54 in (39 mm)
• Thickness: 2.7 mm
• Weight: about 1 oz (28 g)
• Material: brass alloy, Antique Bronze finish
• Made: die struck, minted in the USA
• Each key tag is antiqued with a special patina so it looks like it has already been in circulation. The patina never settles the same way twice, so no two key tags look exactly alike. Small variations in color and shading are normal, and they are what make yours one of a kind.
• Key ring included

Questions

What does “always stay true to who you are” mean here?
That being different is not something to fix. The front makes a joke of fitting in; the back tells you to keep being yourself.

Is the Joker Key Tag a good gift for a teenager?
Yes. It is a fun first keychain for new car or house keys, with a message about staying true to yourself.

Is it the same design as the Joker Coin?
Yes, the artwork is the same on both sides. The key tag simply adds a loop so it can hang from your keys.

Will my key tag look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but never identical. Each key tag is antiqued with a special patina that settles differently every time, so small variations in color and shading from the photos are normal. They are what make yours one of a kind.

Care: keep it dry and wipe it with a soft cloth. No polishing needed; the aged finish is part of the look.
